Nancy’s Story

My name is Nancy, and I grew up on a farm in Colombia, South America. At eighteen, I moved to the city of Medellín, where I began serving in my local church through children’s ministry and a young women’s group. In 2014, God called me to full-time missionary work in Honduras, and I have been serving here ever since.

During my time working in orphanages, my heart was deeply moved by the young adults who came of age without the skills or support they needed to succeed. It was then that I felt God’s call to start Time of Grace — to offer a path of hope and purpose. Through this ministry, we provide practical job skills, mentorship, and faith-based discipleship, giving these young men and women a real alternative to life on the streets and equipping them to build a future filled with dignity, independence, and hope.

Today, I minister in the community of Siguatepeque, Honduras, through Time of Grace Ministry, which focuses on reaching children and youth, strengthening local communities, and hosting short-term mission teams.

What We Do

We minister in local schools through devotionals, mentoring, and assemblies, helping children grow in faith and confidence. In the children’s homes (orphanages), we focus on young men and women who are aging out, connecting them with local business owners and community leaders who provide guidance, mentorship, and practical skills. These opportunities help them learn, grow, and prepare for work and independent living.
